7 girls from Upper School were chosen to represent our school at the Premier Football Tournament held at WBA FC.

The girls were on fire in the group stage playing teams from Cape Hill, Uplands Primary School, Pitmaston and St Huberts. They finished top of the group with a full 12 points!!

Onto the quarter-finals and with 80% possession we beat Grove Vale A and sailed through into the semis.

In the semis, we met a strong team from Cherry Orchard School who had pupils that played for Birmingham City FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. The girls played really well but sadly we missed many chances, the only chance Cherry Orchard had all game they put into the back of the net with only 1 minute left of the game.

With 9 goals scored throughout the day and only one conceded all tournament the girls should be very proud of themselves!
